The firm's real estate practice includes representing purchasers and sellers of commercial real estate throughout the metropolitan New York area (including persons engaged in tax-free exchanges, also known as "1031 transactions") and representing owners of commercial real estate in real estate-based financings. In addition, the firm has extensive experience representing both tenants and landlords in commercial lease transactions as well as in transactions involving subleases, lease assignments and surrenders of leases.
