Accountants' Liability

LLF has extensive experience in and knowledge of the area of accountants' liability, mainly on behalf of investors and lenders in actions alleging auditor malfeasance. LLF's attorneys have also defended auditors accused of wrongdoing, and one of LLF's senior attorneys has written extensively about the responsibility of auditors to detect and report corporate fraud.

Most recently, LLF represented a group of preferred stockholders in an action against the independent auditor of a film company for negligence and fraud in the preparation of the company's annual financial statements.
