Michael J. Bauer

Mr. Bauer practices in the areas of commercial litigation, banking litigation, foreclosure and creditors’ rights. His practice is focused on representing major global financial institutions in New York State trial and appellate courts.

Before joining LLF, Mr. Bauer worked at a well-known midtown Manhattan litigation firm defending a large multinational manufacturer in a multi-district products liability class action. While there, Mr. Bauer also worked on the defense of a tobacco company in a highly publicized tobacco litigation. During law school, Mr. Bauer spent a summer at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia, including a stint in the chambers of the late Hon. A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr.
