Walter E. Swearingen

Walter joined LLF in 1995, after having held an internship in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, where he served in the Civil Division. Walter graduated from Cornell University and received his law degree from Pace University School of Law, where he was a managing editor of the Law Review and a Dean's Scholar. He is the author of Wachtler v. Cuomo: Does New York's Judiciary Have an Inherent Right of Self-Preservation?, 14 Pace L. Rev. 153 (1994). Walter is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
